IPSI helps businesses optimise their online payment services and their customers’ digital experience and has provided online payment solutions and services to some of Australia’s largest organisations including Optus, IAG, HCF, Mastercard, Vocus, Latitude Financial Services, the ATO and the Reserve Bank of Australia. These solutions enable the transition to secure online digital services whilst reducing an organisation’s security compliance burden.
The company has built extensive connections into the global payments system and has its own scalable cloud-based payments platform (Enterprise Secure and Agent Secure) which is already processing billions of dollars of transactions per annum.
This platform is connected to all of the major banks and provides for card payments via online, mobile and telephony services. As well as simply processing the payments, it provides compliance with the major card security standards (mandated by Visa/Mastercard etc.) and unlike other systems provides a rich platform for the collection and analysis of payments data. It is easily configured or tailored to meet the needs of any organisation and to interface to its existing systems and workflow.
x10 Partners' Role
x10 Partners assisted IPSI in making the transition from a systems integrator/reseller to becoming a technology-based company with its own intellectual property and unique solution.
This included exiting previous arrangements, negotiating a process for accelerated technology development and helping to build a high-performance technology focused team.
This required a major pivot in thinking and outlook as to the company’s direction but underpinned the creation of enterprise value and created the foundation for external investment and a substantial exit pathway for the founders.

IPSI sells a majority holding in its payments business to Salter Brothers Equities in order to unlock a new phase in its growth strategy and to address international opportunities for expansion.
IPSI acquired by Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA).
